Urbanista #14 Abandoned Old Terminal Luang Prabang, Laos

On the way to the airport of Louangphabang or Luang Prabang in Laos you can’t missed the silhouette of Asian pagoda style building of the old international terminal of the city on the left side of the road. It is situated 500-1000m from the new International Terminal.

Luang Prabang got rid of its old terminal building in 2013. The old building was not enough to support the growing needs of faster service for all international and domestic flights.

Now it is left to decay and disappear silently into the jungle surroundings. At least for now….
