Coca Cola wants to be VR too…

While it’s just an experiment the company is showing off, Coca-Cola is nevertheless toying with the idea of turning 12-packs of soda into pretty legit VR headsets. While a lot of assembly is required, it’s one of the better ways we’ve seen VR find its way to the masses. Even if you don’t drink soda, someone you know that does would probably give you their empty case.

Boston Dynamics promoting the new version of Atlas

boston-dynamics-atlasA new version of Atlas, designed to operate outdoors and inside buildings. It is specialized for mobile manipulation. It is electrically powered and hydraulically actuated.

It uses sensors in its body and legs to balance and LIDAR and stereo sensors in its head to avoid obstacles, assess the terrain, help with navigation and manipulate objects.
