The purpose of the TicrCube is to display the current Bitcoin price in a local currency. Last weekend we were invited to visit Green Fab in the outskirts of Barcelona. A project promoted by Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia and part of the Fab City network. One dream place for green thinking and birthplace for many of the environment-friendly and adorable projects coming out from Makers community recently. In 2014 LG announced that it has built an 18-inch-OLED display that rolls up like your daily newspaper. Now the company is ready to remove the drapes of secrecy and unveil its ultra-thin display at CES 2016.
These rollable, bendable, and curving displays are already being pushed forward by the likes of Samsung, Sony, Sharp and other others. Along the similar lines, LG has announced in the past that it has invested $8.7bn into OLED development. Continue reading
During the World Cup slalom skiing championship on Wednesday, ski champion Marcel Hirscher was nearly hit by an out-of-control camera drone, that crashed just behind him while filming during a run. The pilot was accredited and allowed to fly the quad, but only over a corridor where no spectators were present. Continue reading
