Urbanista #3 The Abandoned funicular at Palau Nacional de Montjuic-Barcelona

Funicular at palau nacional

Strange ruins can be found if you visit Montjuic hill in Barcelona, Spain. The one which attracted us is situated from the north stairways leading to National Palace in Barcelona. My searches in Internet weren’t leading to anything useful except links to galleries with photos from the abandoned amusement park in Montjuic from the 70’s.

And one day I saw old b&w photo of some crazy Disneyland like composition under the ancient  shade of the palace. When i googled again with adding Continue reading “Urbanista #3 The Abandoned funicular at Palau Nacional de Montjuic-Barcelona”

Suspicious TTIP’s reports used freely by US ambassadors in Bulgaria

10600672_10152724523480470_8178733259921348457_nLooks like that the American ambassador in Bulgaria Eric Rubin is great supporter of TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership). The problem is that he and some other close to TTIP fans, started to use statistics from one very strange “report”. The report, itself is labeled “Made in Bulgaria” by the Bulgarian Academy of Science. It is all full with expected positive effects which can be experienced almost immediately after TTIP become reality. The main problem now is that the Bulgarian Academy of Science never create, order or

Pornhub just gave official start of the 3d Porn Industry Virtual Reality

Pornhub Just Launched a Free VR Channel and It Is WildHave you ever wanted to try porn in virtual reality? Secretly, we all have, and Pornhub just made it insanely easy. The world’s biggest adult site partnered with established VR porn store BaDoink to offer free 360-degree content. It is obviously NFSW.

If you’ve never tried VR porn, let me tell you: It is a weird, wild ride. I tested out the new site using both iOS and Android setups and a couple different headsets. The video I saw was not exactly virtual reality as the footage wasn’t entirely 3D. Pornhub does say that the new channel will have lots of full 360-degree content, so you really feel like you’re in some San Bernardino McMansion having sex with a stranger.

Feel might be the wrong word. It certainly looks like you’re there, though the resolution on the demo video that I saw was blurry at best. At worst, Continue reading “Pornhub just gave official start of the 3d Porn Industry Virtual Reality”

SEATTLE (AP) — Police in Seattle have released photos of the shotgun Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain used to kill himself more than two decades ago.

Seattle police cold case Detective Mike Ciesynski is shown holding Cobain’s gun at different angles in five photos posted to the police department’s website Wednesday.

The photos were taken in June 2015, added to the city of Seattle’s computer system March 3 and since then have been added to the investigative file, according to police.

It’s unclear why they took the photos last year or why they’re releasing them to the public at this time.

A message left with Seattle police wasn’t immediately returned.

Cobain’s body was found in Seattle on April 8, 1994. An investigation determined that days earlier Cobain had gone into the greenhouse of his large home and taken a massive dose of heroin. He then shot himself with a 20-gauge shotgun. His death was ruled a suicide. Continue reading “Kurt Cobain’s suicide gun photos released”

Rogue waves Prediction?

Rogue WavesIt’s bad enough to be on the sea during a storm, with the ship rocking in the high winds and rolling with the tempest-tossed waves. But it could always be worse. Rogue waves are twice as large as the surrounding waves, which in stormy seas can be absolutely massive. Seafarers have reported waves like this over 110 feet tall, large enough to swamp a ship.

Rogue waves are unpredictable, coming seemingly out of nowhere. Until now, the only warnings that a Continue reading “Rogue waves Prediction?”

Coca Cola wants to be VR too…

While it’s just an experiment the company is showing off, Coca-Cola is nevertheless toying with the idea of turning 12-packs of soda into pretty legit VR headsets. While a lot of assembly is required, it’s one of the better ways we’ve seen VR find its way to the masses. Even if you don’t drink soda, someone you know that does would probably give you their … Continue reading Coca Cola wants to be VR too…

A team at the Wyss Institute and Harvard SEAS has developed a new micro-scale printing method to create transformable objects. These “4D-printed” objects go a step beyond 3D printing to incorporate a fourth dimension–time.
The method was inspired by the way plants change shape over time in response to environmental stimuli. This orchid-shaped structure is printed with a hydro gel composite ink containing aligned cellulose fibrils, which enable an-isotropic swelling. A proprietary mathematical model developed by the team precisely predicts how the fibrils will swell in water. Continue reading “4D Printing: Shapeshifting Architecture”
